BECKs has started as BECKs Development Training in 2006. Tony and Linda finally took the plunge, resigned from their jobs and set up the company they have been planning to develop for years! BECKs Development Training was run from an office the size of a shoe box and a kit store in the loft. From the first base in Walk, Northumberland, Tony and Linda moved to bigger premises in Seghill near Cramlington. Again the site was outgrown with business being successful and the next stop was a farm near Morpeth: Cheeveley Farmhouse in Acklington.

In 2009 Tony and Linda signed a 15 year lease for Deneholme Country House, which is now our head office main operational base.

In 2011 some match funding was secured to set up a bike business called  BECKs Bikes, hiring out mountain and hybrid bikes, running skills sessions and leading biking expeditions – from C2C to local routes.

In 2013 Tony and Linda signed an initial 3 year lease (to be extended by another 10) of Sweethope Loughs, a fly fishery and base for water based activities as well as a host of other sports.

In 2014 it became apparent that the image of the companies needed to be re-invented and organised, made more transparent and taken to the next level. All four logos got reinvented and new websites established.
